Should I buy a keyboard to start?
Recently, I was really interested in learning to play the piano. My parents do not, nor anyone I know that life moderately narrow. A friend suggested I buy a decent keyboard, because they are cheaper than the pianos, to see if I really like the concept at all, or if I'm still good. Also, I would "get the feel" because they keys and others, just a little different sounds. So my question is, is this a good idea? Someone knows where to buy one as decent online or something? All comments on this would be really good to see everyone's opinion.
Well, what can possibly be cheaper is buying a MIDI keyboard. It's basically a keyboard you plug into USB on your computer, then synchronize a program like FL Studio (you can get a trial on the site) or Finale (which is specifically for piano and musical composition) and Play sounds through the program. … It's a bit difficult to explain clearly, but if you go to Guitar Center or elsewhere, I'm sure they could explain it. MIDI keyboards can be cheaper, but make sure you have a program to play with or it will be useless.

Sehnsucht $9.87 There’s not a big precedent for German bands succeeding in theUnited States, the ’80s bombast-rock of the Scorpions notwithstanding. Rammstein, however, may be the macho men to get the job done, at least in a concert setting. Decidedly Teutonic and militant in sound and lyrics–they sing in German and their commanding semi-industrial metal is compelling–Rammstein garnered rock-radio airplay for t… |

Art of Segovia $10.41 DG has put together a fascinating compilation of Segovia’s art that reminds us what a protean figure he was. Segovia single-handedly put the instrument on the map by making classical guitar concerts popular events, broadening the instrument’s repertory through commissions and transcriptions, and convincing even doubters that it could be a vehicle for serious music. He’s heard here in brief pieces … |
