Learn piano or keyboard music?
My cousin told me to learn the keyboard playing the music .. But im still thinking about what piano to play .. I have no background music. Very new to music. Should I learn piano or keyboard? uh if you guys suggest piano .. what type of piano should I start with? What model keyboard YAMAHA cost 150-200? Im living in Singapore .. I fully agree with KeAhi .. But this piano should start with i? Do you recommed for schools? I am still confused to play. Basically, I prefer a keyboard because I can Practice Home .. and good too
I am a professional pianist. An electric keyboard is best for you. Just buy a Yamaha for 150-200 $ at Circuit City or a similar store. Personally, I prefer a real acoustic piano, because I love the sound. But they need adjustment. They are not phones, and you can not listen with headphones while you practice. To move an acoustic piano is expensive. Many people give up learning an instrument, after a few months. If you're still playing 2 years from now, you can buy an acoustic piano from a private party (new Yamaha). A piano store charge you double the piano is interesting. I was trained at the age of 6 years as a classical pianist on an acoustic piano. I would not advise this approach today, one of my children. Learning to play in each key is important if you want to be good.
