What kind of piano / keyboard is better for a beginner who wants to learn, while keeping the sound of the piano?
I want to learn to play piano. I live in a small apartment, so I have no room for anything important. I am also not rich and I'm seeking something that is relatively cheap but retaining the same features as a regular piano. I'm looking for something electric, so that is smaller and if possible with a headphone jack.
I have a Chickering console on the carpet area A, 4'x6 ', which essentially means that need the same amount of space as a full-size keyboard, and I live in an apartment too, and even teach from there. You can get a piano to move or sell real estate (or even a thrift shop) and they hold their resale value much better than the keyboards. If you have good relations with your neighbors in your apartment, you can work at a reasonable time, practice, and there are ways to soften the sound damaging not the piano and still allow you to practice.
