How to read piano sheet music for beginners – The importance of the development of ear training
Training the ear is to learn to differentiate between different sounds. This is a great skill to acquire as a musician budding. It will read piano sheet music easier than you will be able to tell by ear if your game is good or bad. Even if you do not a great singer, this is a skill that can be developed. Musical notes can be one of three things. They can remain the same, up or down. If the notes remain the same, their height will be the same.
Point 1 – Make a note on the piano, around the Middle-C. Sing It Back. Now play the note above and Sing It Back. Now play both a note after the other and sing again. Vary this exercise with two notes and then 3 notes. the play and then sing again. Look at your first bar of music for piano. Watch the direction the notes they move up, down or stay the same?
Tip 2 – Before playing the notes on the piano trying to sing this model, although it is very approximate. This allows you accustomed to the direction the notes move and what sound they produce. Now look at the rhythm of the piece. How is there fighting in a bar? If there are 4 beats in a bar, use it to you include "1, 2, 3, 4 in the following year.
Point 3 – Clap the rhythm of the first bar of music at a constant speed. This is training your musical ear to hear the rhythm only. Clap at a constant speed and always count you in.
