How do I clear understanding of beats and rhythm?
I was learning the piano, but I do not understand the tempo a Help beats.please.
tempo is nothing more than numbers. eg 4 / 4 time is four to four. notes simply tell you how time the rhythm is played. a dotted quarter note this is different QB. Study your note values. other hand, tells you the tempo slow or playing. 70 beats per minute is different from 150 beats per minute. Tempo is also determined by the style of music you play. a waltz is the difference Blues is the difference of bossa nova. stlye some certain counts for them. but again, the tempo is not relevant if you do not know not your note value: all, half, quarter, eighth, sixteenth. Finally, to summarize my first point, the time signature also tells you tempo. In 6 / 8 is different from 5 / 4
