How do I play the piano by ear?
I really want to learn to play by ear. I played piano for almost 8 years, but I always sightread. Is there a certain technique on how I can play the piano by ear? Thank you.
There are several training of the ear that you can buy. Berklee College of Music is one. I recommend it. If you do not want to buy something, try learning intervals to the ear. Listen to them several times and test yourself. It will take some time. Be patient!
