music players, help!?
I want to learn to read each note of what I think is called a musical scale. I am interested to play the piano. I know that pianos have 88 keys on them and I want to find a pattern that resembles this one, but http://jackhdavid.thehouseofdavid.com/papers/math-fig-8.jpg 88 piano keys! I have looked everywhere and I would really have to study! Please, if you know of anywhere on the Internet to find one, let me know and I'll go myself and find it! Thank you very much for your help!
Part of this scheme which is marked ABCDE etc. – is a representation of a piano keyboard. Almost all modern pianos standard (not just major) have 88 keys – it takes the black keys and white keys at once. What this diagram does not show the names of the black keys (sharps and flats). Almost every modern piano has 36 black keys and 52 white keys for a total of 88 keys (seven octaves plus a minor third, from A0 to C8). This site explains very simply: http://www.get-piano-lessons.com/layout-piano- Keys.html When you learn to play piano learn the notes on the keyboard and learning the notes on the type of paper to meet. The diagram associated is a fairly good representation of staff (lines with notes on them) and where the notes fall on the keyboard. Good luck learning to play the piano!
