How can I improve my piano playing?
I've never seen before real lessons … Currently, my directory Piano is composed of a song: one version of Pachelbel Canon (in C, not D) I learned from scores of my friend. The problem is, I know almost nothing about the piano chords (I play too many bodies, but the strings are a little different), while the rest (right) is pretty good. I'm not too much of a problem of picking up new songs (I took a week to learn Canon, only the left hand was muscle memory), and I can read notes the left hand, I do not know what the chords I play. Do I need to be worried about this? Or is it that I can continue to just reading the notes without having to learn each chord? Also, nobody knows of good (preferably modern) piano pieces that are available free online? (I well buy the hard copies, but I live far from our music store nearest you, and they do a lot of stock parts not …) Thanks for your help!
