I used to be able to play …. 4 years ago lol .. but I stopped. And now, I forgot How to Read …. Can someone help me?? Because there are songs that I really want to learn to play …
Wait, if you want to know how to read better? or memorize faster? ahh well, ill answer both lol. Okay, well, sight reading is easy for me, but if you want to learn how to make it easier than the music you have, and just play through it. then try to play more difficult pieces. also, I think, if I look at a piece and I think it's too hard I give up, but when my teacher gives me also, mysteriously becomes easier to read. Where and how the mindset that you must learn that …… ……… or other. haha, idk, pretend you have a deadline, then comes the practice. NOW … for memorization. when I want to remember a piece of music, I play through a number of times, just how you would normally play. then I try playing the song a few times just looking at the music, not my hands, so I can kind of get used to … Then I take one step at a time and begin to memorize. it may take some time, but it seems to work most of the time. once I have the only measure without looking at music, I try the second. then, when I the second measure, I play the first and second set … and so on and so forth. if you're stuck in one place, jump on it. is that you are doing and fix it right away.
