What is easier to learn to play an instrument from … is a book or take lessons?
So I really want to learn playing piano, guitar and sing but I do not know if I should buy a book / video / cd for myself to learn or to actually go and take lessons. and do I learn to take lessons or is it the same thing.I do not just want to learn the basics I want to be a pro. What do you recommend
It will really depend on you, the indvidual. Dabble with the book, try a value of six months of lessons, you can buy a CD. Experience with three! There are so many options out there right now. There is no excuse not to jump right with both feet. I play and teach several instruments I learned that private education, books and CDs. I prefer private education from a good training. Just because someone plays an instrument does not mean they can teach it properly! After a teacher gives us a responsibility we do not get a CD or a book. He / she can look and see better fingerings / positions and give you advice that trade can be included in the antiseptic environment of a CD or a book. Good luck in your musical journey!
