Learning the piano: What do I do next?
I started playing the piano recently and I followed everything that has been structured to the last lesson in a great site called www.get lessons.com piano. So what to say, I covered the basics of fingering numbered placement of the fingers, playing the keys with one hand CB, understanding musical rhythms and proper positioning of the hand using a video Youtube years. My question is, what do I do next? I have some ideas in mind, but I'm not really sure if this is the best way learn piano ordered. Youtube does not work yet for me – where a written form is much preferred. By the way, someone can give me a site that offers free piano sheet music for beginner amateur stage, in any format (PDF too!) I can also play with both hands too!
Congratulations on what you've done so far! Can you read music? If you do not read music it will affect how much you are able to improve, so that would be the next step. Contrary to what most people think it is possible to learn to play the piano without private lessons. But you do not need the right tools and online resources are very limited.
